Boxes and Packaging – Dumbarton

Acquired by Boxes and packaging in August 2010, Boxes and Packaging (Dumbarton) works alongside its sister site, Boxshop in East Kilbride. Both sites share the same management team giving a fantastic agility to its manufacturing capabilities.

At 20,500 sq ft, it is our most Northern production facility. The site opened 31 years ago when Aston Corrugated began its corrugated box making operations. The plant then changed hands in 1999 before becoming part Boxes and Packaging in 2010.

Whilst it is one of our smaller sites in terms of footprint, its range of production capabilities is comparable with some of our larger sites.

Its machinery portfolio encompasses a range of printing and die cutting machines including the popular Bobst 1600 flatbed die-cutter, YSF Printer Slotter/Rotary die-cutter and TCY Printer Slotter/Rotary die-cutter. Complemented by a range of finishing equipment presenting the opportunity to have boxes joined by PVA glue, hot melt glue, or stitching. It also has a Gopfert machine which brings large format and heavy-duty box manufacturing capabilities.
