We’re delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in the 2020 Insider Business Made in the North West awards in the category of Sustainable/Ethical Manufacturer Award.
The awards, that have been re-arranged from April, are now scheduled for 2nd September 2020 at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester when the winners of all categories will be announced.
“This is a joint entry between our Manchester and Merseyside sites and highlights not only the sustainability of the product, but other ways in which they are a responsible and ethical manufacturer,” said Stacey Austin, Northern Regional Managing Director, Boxes and Packaging. “These are prestigious manufacturing awards across a diverse range of sectors and we are very pleased to have been shortlisted, together with other manufacturers who are all equally proud of the part they play in the North West business community.”
The sustainable/ethical manufacturer award is for the company that has demonstrated the greatest commitment, though its products and processes, to forging a sustainable future for their company and region.
“Now in their eighth year, the awards are a great representation of manufacturing and the part it plays in the North West economy,” said Stacey. “It is a chance to celebrate the manufacturers in our region, their innovations and commitment to business success.”
The winners from this year’s Made in the North West Awards will go through to the Made in the UK final joining fellow winners from across the country. This is scheduled to take place in Liverpool on 18th November 2020.
